The Meadows is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarasota County, Florida, United States. The population was 3,994 at the 2010 census.〔(【引用サイトリンク】 title=Geographic Identifiers: 2010 Demographic Profile Data (G001): The Meadows CDP, Florida )〕 The Meadows was originally built by the British construction company Taylor Woodrow in the early 1980s. The Meadows contains an active rental retirement community, an assisted living facility, nursing services and a shopping village. The Meadows Country Club offers golf and tennis facilities. The CDP is part of the Bradenton–Sarasota–Venice Metropolitan Statistical Area.
